This coming January or February The Academy will once again be co-sponsoring the Annual Advanced Winter Symposium entitled "Addictive Disorders, Behavioral Health and Mental Health".

This Symposium is held every year in January or February in Colorado Springs. It is a symposium that features many internationally prominent authorities in the area of diagnosing and treating addictive disorders (many of them IABMCP Diplomates) and affords participants the exciting opportunity to interact with many of the leading practitioners in the profession.

Tuition is waived for IABMCP Members. Interested members should contact The Academy and request a registration form as soon as possible. Additional information regarding the conference, including a list of the many internationally prominent authorities who will be making presentations, is available several months before the symposium.

Enjoy Colorado Springs

This exciting booming city is located 60 miles south of Denver. A great new airport makes Colorado Springs easy to reach! The climate, scenery, recreational opportunities and Pikes Peak make Colorado Springs an exceptional setting for the annual symposium. Symposium attendees may want to visit Pikes Peak, the Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, the U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Olympic Training Complex, Cripple Creek, and other unique sites during their stay in Colorado Springs. Skiing is only two hours away!

Fabulous hotel accommodations (luxurious rooms, exceptional restaurants, pool, tennis courts, etc.) are available to Symposium registrants at reduced prices. Information regarding hotel accommodations, as well as information regarding registration materials and continuing education credit, is available by contacting The Academy at:
